A retro-inspired diner with a beachside twist, serving fresh breakfast all day and Southern-style fare with a signature side of hospitality? It turns out that was just the thing the town of St. Augustine, Florida was hungry for.

Since our young beginnings, we’ve become a neighborhood institution, where the locals become regulars and out-of-towners make plans to return. And now, we’re bringing that beachy feeling to your neighborhood, with the good vibes, good times, and good food you crave.

Our history
In 2020, Andy Viola, a seasoned and successful restaurateur opened the first Beachside Diner in St. Augustine Beach Florida. Fueled by a passion for creating the perfect breakfast experience, he and his family focused on serving the community by delivering fresh, high-quality meals with speed, consistency and heartfelt hospitality.
As Beachside Diner continued to grow in popularity, Andy sold the restaurant to lifetime restaurateur Alan Wollenschlaeger. Alan had previously visited the Beachside Diner as a customer and was immediately blown away by the great food and welcoming
atmosphere. When he heard it was for sale, he relocated to St. Augustine and purchased the business. With great vibes, retro diner charm and long lines of eager patrons, he realized the Beachside Diner was too good to remain a secret in St. Augustine Beach.

Southern Comfort Food made from scratch, Beachside Diner is famous for its home style cooking, generous portions, and chef-inspired, made-to-order breakfast dishes.
But our menu doesn’t stop there—we also offer lunch favorites like Reuben sandwiches, 7oz cheeseburgers, Club-sandwiches, and Blackened Mahi Tacos, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
